If you’re looking for a day of free music, hop on over to Troy for the annual Pig Out at Riverfront Park.

It’s a two-day barbecue competition, with U.S. and Canadian teams cooking up ribs, chicken and more. The food costs, but you can listen to eight bands for free.

Music starts today at 11 a.m. with bluesy folk from Henry’s Rifle, then continues all day with the Chris Dukes Band (rock), the Getdown (soul, funk) and Joe Lowry & the Second Mile Blues Band. The main attraction, Wild Adriatic — rock ’n roll from Saratoga — takes the stage at 7 p.m., followed by fireworks.

On Sunday, bluegrass man Dan Johnson starts the music at 11 a.m., followed by the Jimy Graham Band (reggae, blues) at 1 p.m. and country singer Chelsea Cavanaugh at 3.
