Third-period power-play goals by Daniel Ciampini, Mike Vecchione and Max Novak helped Union overcome a 2-0 deficit and upset 19th-ranked St. Lawrence, 3-2, in their ECAC Hockey game Friday at Messa Rink.
The win ended a five-game losing streak for the Dutchmen.
The Saints took a 2-0 lead in the first period on goals by Brian Ward and Matt Purmal 21 seconds apart.
The game was delayed 18 minutes when a pane of glass behind the Union net shattered, thanks to a shot by St. Lawrence’s Nolan Gluchowski.
