For the second straight night, Union overcame a 2-0 deficit to win.
Third-period goals by Max Novak and Tyler Hynes capped the comeback and lifted the Dutchmen to a 3-2 victory over Clarkson in the ECAC Hockey regular-season finale Saturday at Messa Rink.
The Dutchmen fell behind, 2-0, on second-period goals by Kevin Tansey and Joe Zarbo. Ryan Scarfo scored with 4:37 left in the second to get Union on the board.
Novak scored at 3:49 of the third on some great passing between Scarfo and Daniel Ciampini. Scarfo sent a pass from the left circle to Ciampini at the bottom of the right circle. Ciampini fed it in the slot to Novak, who beat goalie Greg Lewis.
Hynes broke the tie with 8:22 left, putting in the rebound of a Nick DeSimone right-point shot.
The Dutchmen finish in 10th place. They will face seventh-seeded Cornell in the first round of the ECAC Hockey tournament. The best-of-three series starts Friday in Ithaca.
