
A Gloversville man is facing multiple felonies in connection with the promotion and possession of child pornography, according to police.
Jeremy D. Brick, 35, was arrested Tuesday and charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child, a class D felony, possession of a sexual performance by a child, a class E felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor.
According to a new release, investigators from the New York State Police Mayfield Bureau of Criminal Investigation, assisted by the Gloversville Police Department, spent several weeks gathering evidence from Brick’s internet history, social media sites and computer and mobile devices recovered during a search of his home.
The investigation was prompted by a complaint, police said.
No further information is being released due to the nature of the charges, according to the news release.
Brick was arraigned in the City of Gloversville Court and remanded to Fulton County Jail on $20,000 cash bail.
