Wiley Sherman scored with 2:29 left in the third period, helping eighth-ranked Harvard to a 4-4 ECAC Hockey tie with Union on Friday at Messa Rink.
The Crimson tied it 3-3 early in the third on a Michael Floodstrand goal. Ryan Scarfo regained the lead for Union on a powerplay goal at 3:27.
Harvard jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period on goals by Jimmy Vesey and Kyle Criscuolo. Foo tied it with 14.9 seconds left in the first.
Scarfo tied it when he tipped a Spencer Foo shot past goalie Merrick Madsen for a power-play goal with 8:53 left. Less than a minute later, Sebastian Vidmar drove the net and beat Madsen for his first collegiate goal.
Earlier in the second, Madsen stopped a Matt Wilkins penalty shot.
Union is 0-3-4 in Friday games, and 0-4-2 in overtime contests.
