Goals by Tim Harrison and Tyson Spink 16 seconds apart midway through the third period rallied Colgate to a 4-2 ECAC Hockey victory over Union on Friday at Messa Rink.
Harrison, who scored a short-handed goal 1:10 into the game, tucked the puck past Alex Sakellaropoulos on the power play at 11:04. Then at 11:20, Spink corralled a bouncing puck and lifted over the fallen Sakellaropoulos to break the tie.
Union had leads of 1-0 and 2-1. On a delayed penalty against the Raiders, Brett Supinski gave the Dutchmen a 1-0 lead 49 seconds into the game when he fired a shot from the bottom of the left circle past goalie Charlie Finn.
Early in the second period, with the teams skating four aside, Nick DeSimone took a cross-ice pass from Jeff Taylor, who was at the right point, and he fired it short side past Finn at 2:30.
