Two of the three Schenectady men indicted last week in connection with a home invasion in Charlton have pleaded guilty, Saratoga County District Attorney Karen A. Heggen said.

Robert M. Buckley, 39, of Park Place, and Delbert Parker Jr., 28, of Grove Place, each pleaded guilty to a single count of second-degree burglary during appearances in County Court on Friday.

Under a plea agreement, County Court Judge James A. Murphy III is expected to sentence each of them to 12 years in prison, followed by five years’ post-release supervision.

Heggen declined to discuss the case beyond the basic facts because an indictment containing numerous charges remains pending against the third defendant, Michael W. Winchip, 39, of Bradt Street.

The three men were indicted Feb. 24 on burglary and robbery charges stemming from the Jan. 27 incident.

State police said the three were accused of holding an elderly woman against her will with a sweater over her head while they searched the home and stole cash. The three barged in after the woman answered her door. The woman was unhurt.

Each was indicted on charges of second-degree burglary, second-degree robbery, fourth-degree grand larceny, petty larceny, unlawful imprisonment and harassment.

Parker and Winchip also face unrelated charges in Schenectady.

Heggen said the District Attorney’s Office was in regular contact with the woman and her husband during the case. Assistant District Attorney Charles Bucca deferred comment until sentencing, which will be April 22.
