Suspicious man in car reported in Saratoga springs

City police are investigating a report of a suspicious man in a car Monday on the city’s south side.

Police said that at about 11 a.m. that day, a caller reported seeing a suspicious male operating a white vehicle on Doten Avenue.

The caller said the older white male drove by a residence and stared at the children as they were outside the residence and attempted to speak with the children. He then drove off as the adult caller approached.

Police want interview the driver of the vehicle, believed to be a late model Ford Escape SUV.
