Amtrak passenger trains were delayed in Schenectady this morning after a contractor damaged a utility police, Amtrak officials said.
“A piece of equipment used by a contractor working in the area damaged a utility pole,” said spokesman Craig Schultz. “Trains were held clear until the pole could be secured.”
Schultz said four trains, two in each direction, were delayed about two hours each.
