
A man was stabbed in the back Tuesday night after a fight at Steinmetz Homes.
A fight broke out in an apartment at Steinmetz Homes around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday sending one man to the hospital with a stab wound.
The victim, whose identity is unknown, sustained one stab wound to the back at 69 Steinmetz Homes.
He was treated on the scene and transported to Albany Medical Center. He is in stable condition, police Lt. Mark McCracken said.
Schenectady police arrested John R. Marsh, Jr., of Steinmetz Homes, in connection with the stabbing, according to McCracken.
Marsh was arraigned this morning in Schenectady City Court on charges of assault in the 2nd degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the 3rd degree, both felonies.
