BALLSTON SPA — A village resident was arrested Friday on charges that accuse him of downloading and sharing pictures and videos of underage children engaged in sexual activities, police said.
Garrett Weatherwax, 22, of 4 Century Drive, faces a count of promoting a sexual performance by a child, a felony, following an investigation by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, according to a police report. He was arraigned in Malta town court and was released, deputies said.
The FBI Child Exploitation Task Force in Albany assisted in the investigation.
