STILLWATER — Former State Sen. Joe Bruno will appear at a book reception for his memoir, “Keep Swinging,” from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Panza’s restaurant on Route 9P.

The book, published late last year, is the former Senate Republican majority leader’s memoir of growing up poor in Glens Falls, his rise in politics and his battle against federal corruption charges, of which he was acquitted in 2014. He represented part of Saratoga County throughout his Senate career and discusses many of his economic development initiatives in the book.

The event is sponsored by Northshire Bookstore and Panza’s.
