Chowderfest street, parking restrictions announced

Saratoga Springs police announced street closures and parking restrictions in advance of this year’s Chowderfest, which is set to take over Saratoga Springs all day Saturday.

The street closures, in effect from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted, are as follows:

—Caroline Street: from Broadway to Henry Street

—Henry Street: Lake Avenue to Caroline Street

—Pavilion Row: Lake Avenue to Caroline Street, with access to Pavilion Grand Hotel

—Putnam Street/Maple Avenue: Lake Avenue to library entrance

—Putnam Street: Library to Spring Street starting at 11 a.m., with access to parking garage

—Phila Street: Putnam to Henry streets

—Phila Street: Broadway to Putnam Street starting at noon

—Gardner Lane: Broadway to Putnam Street, with access for residents

—Ellsworth Jones Place: Broadway to Maple Avenue

The following parking restrictions will be in place during the festival, which runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.:

—Caroline Street: No parking on both of sides from Broadway to Henry Street

—Putnam Street/Maple Avenue: Both sides from Lake Avenue to Spring Street

—Henry St: Both sides from Lake Avenue to Caroline Street 

—Pavilion Row: Both sides from Lake Avenue to Caroline Street

—Phila Street: Both sides from Putnam to Henry streets 

—Ellsworth Jones Place: Both sides from Broadway to Maple Avenue

—Broadway: No parking on the west side from Division Street to Druthers Brewing Company, 381 Broadway
