SCHENECTADY — A city woman has been charged in connection with a stabbing last month at a Hamilton Hill market, authorities said.

She is the second person to be charged in connection with the crime, records show.

Shannon D. Nisby, 24, of Crane Street, faces one count each of first-degree attempted assault and first-degree reckless endangerment, both felonies.

Nisby is accused of using an unknown bladed weapon to stab the victim multiple times in the chest, buttocks and arm the evening of April 3 at Zaid’s, 808 Albany St., according to papers filed in court. The victim’s injuries were not described as serious.

Police last month charged Jonathan Ruiz, 25, of the Bronx, with attempted assault and reckless endangerment in the case. Papers filed in both cases indicated video evidence helped lead to the arrests.
