Girl, 15, hit by car in Colonie; dog killed

COLONIE — A 15-year-old Colonie girl is in critical but stable condition after being hit by a car Thursday in the town.

Madison Dunlap was walking her dog along the side of the road about 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of Albany Street and Runnel Drive when she was struck by a car driven by Randy Bouley, 42, of Colonie, police said.

Bouley immediately stopped his vehicle and called 911, police said. 

Dunlap was transferred to Albany Medical Center; the dog was killed.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone who may have witnessed the accident is asked to contact Colonie police at 783-2744.
