We are often told that the actions of one person seldom have measurable impact. I’m encouraging you to consider the many positive, impactful actions of Rosemarie Perez Jaquith, who is seeking re-election on the Niskayuna Board of Education.
Rosemarie is blessed with many skills exemplified in her position as administrative counsel for the New York state Legislative Bill Drafting Commission and as the school board president.
In the last two budget cycles, she has supported budgets with zero percent and .4 percent increases in local tax levy. This year the proposal includes a modest 2.08 percent increase with the addition of teachers and manageable class sizes.
Rosemarie is not only a savvy attorney, administrator and board president, but also a loyal and compassionate individual who whole-heartedly cares about our youth.
She maintains a broad perspective, having raised three children and supported each of them through the K-12 process, serving on the PTO at each level, in addition to the District PTO Council.
Rosemarie’s devotion to the welfare of children extends beyond our district, as she is an instrumental, founding member of the St. Baldrick’s head-shaving Event at Proctors, raising nearly $500,000 toward pediatric cancer research.
Rosemarie works diligently for what she believes in by inspiring and fostering lasting change. She is never-endingly passionate and balanced with the power of constructive intent. Actually, her influence in our family and community is immeasurable.
