
Scattered power outages continued across the region Friday, after a line of powerful storms swept through, downing trees and power lines.
National Grid reported small clusters of customers without power through Schenectady and Saratoga counties.
Schenectady County appeared to have the largest single area without power — around the Route 50, Glenridge and Hetcheltown road areas — Friday. Nearly 1,200 customers continued to be without power past noon, according to the National Grid website, which also estimated restoration for 1 p.m.
Various outages around Saratoga Springs totaled about 1,900 customers without power, according to National Grid. Some of the estimated restoration times extend into Saturday.
The Glens Falls area also remains hard-hit, with National Grid estimating around 10,000 without power just after noon on Friday.
