Clifton Park man accused of stealing $360 in Red Bull

Being held in jail on unrelated charge

A desire for Red Bull’s wings has landed a Clifton Park man behind bars.

State police in Brunswick said they arrested Nicholas J. Ledwith last Wednesday after an investigation into thefts of Red Bull energy drinks from the Market 32 supermarket in Brunswick.

Troopers said Ledwith was seen by store employees on video surveillance taking the drinks on two different occasions in late April. The total value of the stolen Red Bull was estimated at $360. They said Ledwith is a suspect in two similar incidents in Clifton Park.

Ledwith was arrested on a charge of petty larceny.

He is to appear in Brunswick Town Court. He is currently being held at the Saratoga County jail on an unrelated charge.
