Sean A. Bennett, 33, of Park Avenue, was charged Friday with felony burglary, misdemeanor menacing and four counts of misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child, deputies said.

There were no injuries reported from the incident, which deputies described as a domestic dispute.

Lt. Jeff Brown, a department spokesman, said Bennett got into an argument with his ex-girlfriend before threatening to hit the man with the wooden paddle.

Bennett was arraigned in Milton Town Court and was sent to Saratoga County jail without bail.

He is to return to Town Court at a later date.
