SCHENECTADY – A city man is accused of throwing a child against a refrigerator and throwing items at a woman during an incident early Thursday, authorities said.
Danny J. Dunn, 34, of Elder Street, faces one count of first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, and other charges, records show.
Dunn is accused of violating a “refrain from” order of protection related to his ex-girlfriend by wrestling with her and throwing a bottle of Fabreeze at her leg, causing a scratch, according to papers filed in court. He allegedly kicked a hole in a wooden door during the incident.
Dunn is also accused of grabbing the child by the arm and neck and throwing him against a refrigerator, endangering his welfare. No injury to the child was reported in paperwork.
