Victim suffers swollen lip, bloody mouth

A Schenectady man was arrested Saturday after a domestic dispute, police said.

Matthew T. Walker, 26, was arrested about 1 a.m. on charges of third-degree assault and second-degree unlawful imprisonment. The incident took place at 805 Francis Ave., when Walker punched a 21-year-old woman several times, then grabbed her by the arm as she attempted to leave and pulled her back into the apartment, police said.

The victim, who suffered a swollen lip and bloody mouth, is requesting an order of protection in the case.
