Deputies: Milton man injured girls while driving through trailer park on drugs

He faces felony, misdemeanor counts

MILTON — A Milton man is accused of crashing his car into another vehicle while on drugs Tuesday and causing one of two young girls inside to be ejected, Saratoga County sheriff’s deputies said. 

He also hit a third girl who was standing outside the other vehicle shortly before 7:40 p.m. in Saratoga Village Mobile Home Park, deputies said.

Jeffrey D. Place, 23, a resident of the Rock City Road trailer park, was charged with felony reckless endangerment and driving while ability impaired by drugs and reckless driving, both misdemeanors, following the crash, deputies said. 

The three girls were taken to Saratoga Hospital, where they were evaluated and treated for nonlife-threatening injuries, deputies said. Their ages are 2, 9 and 12.

Place was arraigned in Milton Town Court and sent to the Saratoga County jail.
