A man was hit by a car Wednesday night in Colonie, police said.
John B. O’Donnell Jr., 44, of Lake Placid was attempting to cross Troy Schenectady Road near Wade Road at 9:38 p.m. when he was struck by Lauren E. Sharp, 66, of Cohoes, who was driving west in a 2017 Lexus, police said.
O’Donnell was treated by Colonie EMS on the scene and sent to Albany Medical Center in critical condition, police said.
Police are asking for anyone who witnessed the crash or who has information about it to call 783-2744.
