Kick off your Fourth of July weekend in Red, White and Brew with Proctors this Friday.
Proctors is hosting its first Red, White and Brew Festival on June 30 from 5 to 9 p.m.
Unlike most events at Proctors, this one will be outside, located in the Clinton South parking lot directly behind Proctors. The rain location will be spread out between Rob Alley and the GE Theater inside Proctors.
The event will include over 30 breweries, including Ommegang, Yuengling, Adirondack Brewery, Brown’s Brewing Co., and Saranac. A full list of the breweries attending the festival is available on Proctors’ website.
There will many different vendors and games including Corn Hole and Kam Jam, and live music from Kick, a local rock and country band that has been performing around the Capital Region since 1996.
Food vendors include Dinosaur BBQ, Smokin’ Hoggs BBQ, the ADK Brewery Food Truck, and Lil Ray’s Snack Shack. Other vendors include Rivers Casino, 99.9 Wild Country and Habana Premium Cigar.
Molly Tocin, Proctors’ Special Events Manager since December, said that she “wanted to try something a little different this year that Proctors hasn’t done before.”
In the past, Proctors has hosted similar indoor events such as “Pink and Brew,” which ran annually from 2012 to 2015, and “Beer, Bourbon, BBQ, and Bands,” which was held in June 2016.
However, Tocin said that Proctors was “looking to go in a different direction” from events it has hosted in the past.
General Admission costs $30 and includes games, music, and 15 beer samples. Designated driver tickets cost $15 and include games, music, and soft drinks. Tickets are available here. All ticket holders must be over 21 years of age.
