BALTIMORE, Md. — Niskayuna High School graduate Lucas Quinn scored three goals Saturday night as part of the North’s 18-16 win over the South in the 12th Annual Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Game at Towson University’s Johnny Unitas Stadium.
A Syracuse University-bound midfielder, Quinn scored his final goal late in the fourth quarter to help the North hold off the South for its first win in the series since 2010.
Quinn set the Niskayuna career scoring record with 342 points and, as a sophomore, played a key role as the Silver Warriors became Section II’s first team to capture a state championship. He notched 68 goals and 44 assists during his senior season and led Niskayuna to the Section II Class B title.
Quinn was selected a US Lacrosse All-American for the second time this year to go with his Under Armour All-American nod.
The North team also included University at Albany commit Tehoka Nanticoke, an attackman who played for IMG Academy in Florida.
