A Clifton Park man was charged Tuesday with felony rape, Saratoga County sheriff’s deputies said.
Taylor E. Pierre, 18, is also accused of asking juvenile females to send him sexually explicit photos and videos on social media and trying to meet with some of them “for sexually motivated encounters,” deputies said in a prepared statement.
Pierre was charged with first-degree rape, promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child, all felonies, following an investigation into an alleged sexual assault, deputies said.
The rape charge accuses him of forcibly raping a female juvenile acquaintance at his home in February.
Through their investigation, detectives also learned that Pierre was soliciting photos and videos from other juvenile females while arranging to meet with them, which occurred over the past few months, deputies said.
Pierre was arraigned in Clifton Park Town Court and held in lieu of bail, deputies said.
He is due to appear in court at a later date.
