Taste NY: Cider, Wine & Spirits
Saratoga Race Course patrons can sample varietals of beers from numerous New York State distilleries and wineries. Noon to 5 p.m. in the Saratoga Pavilion. Guests will enjoy five samples for $5. Must be 21 or older.


SUP yoga
Hosted by the Kayak Shak. From 9 to 11 am at the Shak at 251 Staffords Bridge Road
Cost: $35, includes board rental, PFD, instruction, and yoga class; $20 if you bring your own board

History, Legends, Lore and More, 297 Broadway
This 90-minute guided tour of Congress Park starts at 10:30 a.m. at the Saratoga Springs Heritage Area Visitor Center.
The cost is $8 per adult; children younger than 12 admitted for free.

Ballston Spa Concert in the Park
This week’s concert features the Coteries from 6 to 8 p.m. in Wiswall Park on Front Street, Ballston Spa. FREE.

Fonda Fair
Agriculture, equine exhibits and motorized events are the main attractions at this fair put on by the Montgomery County Agricultural Society. Runs through Labor Day. 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. For more information, call 518-853-3313.

The Great Schaghticoke Fair
This year marks the 198th year of Rensselaer County’s agriculture showcase. Don’t miss the rides and building after building bursting with vegetables, fruits, animals, antiques, baked goods and homemade crafts. The fair runs through Labor Day.
