Hallenbeck-Brown, who retired in June 2016, taught seventh- and eighth-grade math at Gloversville Middle School. In 2012, she started organizing annual “Math-A-Thon” fundraisers for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which over five years raised $50,000, according to the district.

Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Gloversville.
