SARATOGA SPRINGS — A public meeting about the proposed state constitutional convention will begin at 7 p.m. Oct. 11 at the Davis Auditorium, Palamountain Hall, on the Skidmore College campus.

The meeting is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Saratoga County.

The question of whether the state should conduct a constitutional convention will be put to voters on Nov. 7, as is mandated by the state’s constitution.

In attendance at the Oct. 11 meeting will be Jim Malatras, president of the Rockefeller Institute of Government for the State University of New York System, a think tank that examines public policy issues.

The meeting is free and open to the public.
