SCHENECTADY — A city man illegally possessed a handgun Thursday morning, police said.
Shai-quan Wright, 21, of Wing Avenue, faces one count each of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a firearm, both felonies.
Wright possessed the .25-caliber semi-automatic handgun just after 11 a.m. at Albany and Schenectady streets, according to court documents.
