SCHUYLERVILLE — A Schuylerville man was arrested on a rape charge Saturday, accused of having sex with a 13-year-old, state police said.
William E. Bounds, 32, faces charges of second-degree rape, second-degree criminal sexual act, second-degree sexual abuse, and endangering the welfare of a child, troopers at the Malta barracks said.
He was arraigned in Saratoga Town Court and sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or a $50,000 bail bond. He is scheduled to return to town court on Tuesday, troopers said.
