In Class AA first round play, Brandon Ford scored twice to lead Guilderland past Schenectady 2-0.
CBA defeated Colonie 3-1. Brady Van Epps had two goals for the Brothers.
Alex Chan’s overtime goal pushed Niskayuna past Albany 2-1. Merjan Ozisik also scored for the Silver Warriors. Albany’s goal was scored by Marcello Fazio.
Bethlehem doubled up Troy 4-2. Killian Ryan and Derin Gumustop netted goals for the Eagles.
LaSalle won its match against Ballston Spa 2-1 in penalty kicks. John Gordon (LaSalle) and Jeremy Obrecht (Ballston Spa) scored goals.
Ichabod Crane shut out Broadalbin-Perth 2-0 for a Class B quarterfinal win. Anthony Carlucci had a goal for the Riders.
Henry Hansen scored twice to lead Greenwich over Stillwater 5-1 in a Class CC quarterfinal. Charlie Gartner and Ellis Pemrick each added a goal and an assist for the Witches.
Lake George bested Corinth 7-0. Alex Jones recorded three goals and two assists.
In a Class C quarterfinal, Cambridge beat Bolton-Warrensburg 2-0. Ian Montgomery scored one of the Indian goals.
GIRLS’ SOCCER
Tanya Leggiero had a hat trick in Scotia-Glenville’s 6-0 Class A win over Lansingburgh. Lauren Zeglen, Sydnee Smith and Alexis Zatlokowicz also scored.
Averill Park topped Queensbury 1-0 behind Micayla Slattery’s goal.
Alex Skoda scored twice in Mohonasen’s 2-0 win over Gloversville.
FIELD HOCKEY
Schuylerville beat Salem 5-0 in a Class C quarterfinal. Lauren Morency and Morgan Gunter each collected a goal and an assist.
Hoosick Falls scored a win against Glens Falls 3-1. Lillian Hickey recorded a hat trick for the Panthers.
Johnstown bested Greenwich 5-0 behind a hat trick from Taryn Ringer. Emily Fleming recorded a goal and an assist.
GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL
Niskayuna defeated Shaker 25-15, 25-14, 25-21 in the Suburban Council. For the Silver Warriors, Kathie Atchinson collected 13 assists and 15 service points, while Stefana Stan added 16 kills and three blocks.
Voorheesville topped Holy Names 17-25, 25-21, 25-21, 32-30 for a Colonial Council win. Sophie Whiteman recorded 14 service points and seven assists for the Blackbirds (16-0).
Mechanicville earned a Wasaren League win over Cambridge 25-13, 25-9, 25-15. Kalli Gilbert tallied 32 service points and eight aces for the Red Raiders.
BOYS’ VOLLEYBALL
In the Suburban Council, Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake beat Saratoga Springs 25-18, 25-20, 25-16. Derek Haughey had 34 assists for the Spartans, while Zac Cabral recorded 10 kills and four blocks.
