HALFMOON — State police confirmed to Gazette news-gathering partner CBS6 Albany that a body was recovered from a vehicle found Thursday in the Mohawk River.
A state police dive team responded to an area off the Route 9 bridge over the river for a report of a car in the water, Saratoga County Sheriff Michael Zurlo told The Gazette earlier.

Authorities were called to the scene at 2:30 p.m., Zurlo said.
