GLENVILLE — Hetcheltown Road, between Pashley Road and Glenridge Road, was closed to all traffic for much of the day Friday, after a one-vehicle accident, town officials said.

A vehicle hit a large utility pole near the Glendale Home, and the road was closed while National Grid replaced the pole, Town Supervisor Chris Koetzle said. The road re-opened to traffic at around 2 p.m.

The driver was injured, but further information on the accident wasn’t immediately available from Glenville police.
