SCHENECTADY — Schenectady Serves, which rallied the community to raise funds to help communities affected by hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria, raised $9,316.82 for victims in Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico, according to event organizers.

The fundraising effort included a September block party on State Street, featuring food selections from Aperitivo Bistro; Johnny’s; Mexican Radio; Nico’s Rooftop Tavern; Rivers Casino and Resort; and DeCrescente Distributing Co.
