Saratoga County arts organizations are now invited to apply for grants funded by Skidmore College, the college announced Monday.

The Skidmore College Arts Planning Group is offering a total of $42,000 for grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 each. Nonprofits in Saratoga County that focus on the arts are eligible.

Projects supported by the grant program — now in its second year — must include participation from Skidmore students and faculty. Fourteen arts organizations won grants last year, including Saratoga Arts Fest, Saratoga Shakespeare and the Saratoga Film Forum.

Grant proposals are due by Jan. 31, and grant winners will be decided by Feb. 28. To apply, contact Paul Calhoun at [email protected]
