Re Dec. 3 article, “Minimum wage, maximum stress”: Not to be unkind, but let me get this straight.
I’m supposed to feel great sympathy and some sense of responsibility for a 28-year-old man who has managed to father nine children at that young age, because he works for $9.75 per hour?
So when exactly do these millennials grow up and start taking responsibility for their own actions?
Minimum wage was never intended to be a career choice and is not the cause of this man’s problems.
I’m glad he’s working and trying to take care of his family.
But his life decisions are the cause of his issues, not the pay scale.
