CLIFTON PARK — Rapper, chef and entertainer Action Bronson is headed to Upstate Concert Hall on Friday.
Bronson, whose style has often been compared to Ghostface Killah, has been praised by the New York Times as “one of the most promising prospects in New York hip-hop.” The artist has toured with the likes of Eminem and has been a force in the music industry. He recently released “Blue Chips 7000,” his latest album in his “Blue Chips” series.
Beyond the music, he’s also been making moves in the world of TV entertainment. Just over a month ago, he premiered a show on “VICELAND,” called “The Untitled Action Bronson Show.” It’s a combination of cooking, interviewing, and comedic antics.
Oh, and he’s written a cookbook. As Bronson once alluded to in an interview, he works best when he’s busy.
Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. at Upstate Concert Hall (1208 New York 146, Clifton Park). Meyhem Lauren is slated to open for Bronson. Tickets are $27.50. For more info, visit upstateconcerthall.com.
