ALBANY — For the second week this season, the University at Albany men’s basketball team is in the top five of the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major National Rankings.
The Great Danes are No. 4 this week after winning 10 of the first 11 games this season.
Last week, UAlbany was ranked sixth.
UAlbany is one of two America East programs ranked. Vermont, which beat UAlbany in last season’s conference championship game, is ranked No. 13 in this week’s poll.
Gonzaga, last season’s national tournament runner-up, continues to lead the mid-major poll.
