In Suburban Council boys’ basketball, Shaker beat Niskayuna 52-40.

Shaker was led by Sloan Seymour with 15 points. KJ Cox and Nick Benton had 13 points a piece for Niskayuna. 

Mohonasen used an 18-point fourth quarter to beat Burnt Hills 59-46. 

Mohonasen was led by Duncan Tallman with 16 points, Jalani Abdul-Aziz with 15 points and Gregory Van Epps with 14 points.

Troy was led by Nazaire Merritt’s 19 points and beat CBA 70-64.

Joe Casale also scored 15 for Troy. CBA was led by Andrew Signer’ 21. 

Schalmont rallied behind a 20-point performance from Shane O’Dell to pick up the 73-29 victory in 

Colonial Council play. Other top scorers for Schalmont were Mike Tommasone, who hit six 3-pointers and scored 18 points, and Jesse O’Neil who had 12. 

Mechanicville beat Stillwater 60-50 in Wasaren League play.

Mechanicville was led by Kendrink McCann’s 16 points and Stillwater was led by Cooper Momast’s 11.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Mohonasen used a 30-point second half to beat Burnt Hills 54-33 in Suburban Council play. 

Mohonasen was led by Bre Lott’s 20 points and seven rebounds and Sam Purzycki’s double double of 12 points and 10 rebounds. Burnt Hill’s top scorer was Kiera Walsh with 11 points.

Colonie fought back from a 31-27 deficit at halftime to take the 53-48 victory over Bethlehem. 

Colonie was led by Aliyah Wright’s 15 points.Bethlehm was led by Julie Okienewski’s 16 points.

Guilderland beat Columbia 67-60.

Guilderland was led by Aysia Pink with 19 points, and Columbia was led by Emily Zeyak with 18 points. 

Schalmont held Ravena-Coeymans-Selkrik to single digits in every quarter en route to a  44-20 win in Colonial Council play. 

Schalmont was led by Payton Graber’s 12 points and Paige Brinkman’s 11 points.

Catholic Central used a 48-point first half to secure a 89-32 win over Ichabod Crane.

Catholic Central was led by Ahniysha Jackson’s 22 points and Emily Frodyma’s 16. Ichabod Crane was led by Madison Graham’s 12 points.
