In Foothills Council girls’ basketball action on Thursday, Scotia-Glenville rode Mikyla Mitchell’s 19 points to a 59-31 victory over Hudson Falls.

Other top scorers for Scotia (7-0) were Mary Kate Palleschi with 11 points, and Hudson Falls’ top scorer was Bre Inglee with nine points.

Queensbury beat South Glens Falls 65-38. The Spartans were led by Hope Sullivan’s 20 points and Hailey Ballard’s 15. The Black Horses were paced by Mackenzie Collier’s 18 points.

Amsterdam beat Glens Falls 55-46. Giulana Pritchard led the Rams with 20 points, while Glens Falls was led by Lexi Cutten, who had 14.

Jesse VanNostrand scored 16 points and Jaden Wilson added 12 to lead Johnstown to a 53-41 victory over Broadalbin-Perth. Makensie Smith scored 18 points for the Patriots.

Schalmont was led by Jesse O’Dell’s 16 points and one of Green Tech’s leading scorers was Layki Russel, who hit for 18 points.

Joe Girard III scored 48 points as Glens Falls defeated Johnstown 87-70 at Fulton-Montgomery Community College.
Matthew Boyle scored 23 points for the Sir Bills.
