Nursing homes should never have one CNA (patient care assistant) for 13 severely disabled patients. The patients can range from a child to an adult and need hoyer lifts to lift patients. Sometimes these facilities do not have the staff to get them up for activities.
It was not as bad as this maybe 10 to 15 years ago. I have sympathy for the CNAs and patients.
