As I noticed from previous letters to the editor, there are a number of Niskayuna residents who question the ability of a Democratic board and a Republican supervisor to govern in a responsible way.
I, too, was skeptical. I sent an email to Denise Murphy McGraw outlining my concerns. She immediately replied saying, “My top priority is always to show the people of Niskayuna I work with their best interests at heart. I will never waver from that mission.”
In this era of negativism and instant judgment, I suggest that we give them time to show us that in Niskayuna, nonpartisan leadership is possible, despite evidence to the contrary from the state and federal governments.
