CLIFTON PARK — A woman who was banned from a grocery store returned anyway, stole items and now faces a felony charge, state police said.

Victoria M. Hoffman, 27, of Stephentown, faces one count of third-degree burglary. State police arrested her Wednesday.

Hoffman and Kyle B. Lewis, 28, also of Stephentown, are accused of stealing items from the Clifton Park Market 32 on Jan. 11, state police said.

Hoffman had previously been banned from all Price Chopper or Market 32 stores, which is what elevated the crime to a burglary charge, police said. Lewis faces a misdemeanor petit larceny count.

The pair were arrested and released to return to court later.
