QUEENSBURY — A Saratoga Springs woman has been accused of stealing more than $1,000 in merchandise from a Queensbury store, according to state police.

Giselle M. Barnes, 49, was arrested Monday and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony.

Troopers alleged Barnes, whom they said was on parole from a 2016 bail-jumping conviction, stole the goods from the JCPenney store in Aviation Mall.

Barnes was arraigned in Queensbury Town Court and sent to Warren County jail. No bail was set.
