Tracy Villaume joins morning team at The River

Broadcaster Tracy Villaume will join radio’s The River (99.5 FM) for the station’s morning drive show.

Villaume will join Kevin Rush for “Kevin & Tracy in the Morning,” starting Monday, March 5.

Villaume replaces Shanna, who announced plans earlier this month to leave the iHeartMedia station. Shanna, who uses only the singular name, will move to iHeart’s WMIL-FM, Milwaukee’s Best Country, in Wisconsin.

Shanna will remain on air through Friday.

Before joining The River, Villaume served as news anchor and reporter for iHeart’s WGY (810-AM, 103.1-FM). She also worked at WTEN.

The River plays artists such as Ed Sheeran, Pink and Bon Jovi, among others. The morning drive show also includes games such as “Celebrity Birthday” and “Secret Sound Games.”
