State gymnastics: Dallas finishes 13th overall

COLD SPRING HARBOR — Ava Dallas was the top performer from Section II in the Gymnastics State Championships, finishing 13th in all around, seventh in vault, 17th in bars, 24th in beam and 11th in floor.

Other top athletes were Sophia Damiano and Rachel Drislane, who finished eighth and ninth in floor respectively, Drislane also finished 17th in beam.

Section II finished 6th over all as a team, Section III took 1st as a team with a 185.725.
