GLOVERSVILLE — A 10-year-old child is facing charges after allegedly threatening to kill a Gloversville High School student and to “blow up the school,” police said.
According to police, on March 6, a student received messages on their phone asking if they were in school. When the student said they were in school, the 10-year-old child allegedly sent messages stating they would kill the student and also “blow up the school,” police said. School staff then contacted police.
The 10-year-old child was charged with making a terroristic threat, which if was committed by an adult would be a felony, police said. A juvenile delinquent referral and arrest paperwork was forwarded by Gloversville Police to to Fulton County Probation.
