ALBANY — A Schenectady man is facing charges that accuse him of robbing a bank on New Scotland Avenue earlier this month.

Albany Police said Ronald Gordon, 54, has been charged with first-degree robbery. 

Police said he went into a KeyBank branch at 561 New Scotland Ave. on the morning of March 14 and approached the counter, where he implied he had a weapon and demanded cash. The teller complied, and Gordon fled with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

No injuries were reported during the incident, police said.

Gordon was arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court.
