Trio arrested after three Saratoga County robberies

Charges stem from robberies in Stillwater, Schuylerville and Mechanicville

SARATOGA COUNTY — Three people were arrested Friday following a convenience store robbery and now face felony charges related to three recent holdups. 

The individuals fled in a vehicle from the Mobil Mart on Hudson Avenue on Friday about 9:30 p.m. before Stillwater police arrived, authorities said. The three were later located in the parking lot at Price Chopper in Mechanicville. 

Christopher Hutchins, Daniel Deming and Ashley Deming were taken into custody and each charged with first degree robbery. 

The trio is also responsible for two other robberies, authorities said. 

The first incident was on April 6 in Schuylerville. The second occurred on April 7 in Mechanicville. 

They were arraigned in Mechanicville City Court on charges that including robbery, grand larceny and conspiracy. They were transported to Saratoga County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail. 

Stillwater Police Department, Mechanicville Police Department and the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office were involved in the case.
